ITServe Austin Chapter’s CSR Organizes Blood Donation Drive
The most precious gift one can give to others is to share one’s own blood to help save lives. This lifesaving care starts with every individual making a generous donation. The need for blood is constant.
Recognizing the importance that Blood is essential to help patients survive surgeries, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries, and thus saving lives, ITServe Austin Chapter’s CSR Team organized a Blood Donation Drive in partnership with WE ARE BLOOD, on March 7th, 2023 from 9 am - 4 pm at 700 Market Street Suite 205 & Suite 203, Cedar Park, TX 78613.
WE ARE BLOOD believes that “As different as we look, we’re still the same – the same local not-for-profit organization, the same provider and protector of the Central Texas blood supply, the same people.”
Participating in a blood drive is a compassionate and life-saving endeavor. By donating blood, you contribute to the well-being of those in need and support medical efforts to save lives. Blood drives are crucial for maintaining a stable supply of blood and blood products for various medical procedures and emergencies.
The blood drive organized by ITServe Austin saw an impressive turnout with 35 dedicated participants stepping forward to make a difference. Our collective commitment to donating blood exemplifies the spirit of community and highlights the vital role that ITServe Austin plays in organizing such essential events.
Through their generous participation, these members of ITServe have contributed to potentially saving numerous lives, and their generosity will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on those in need of blood transfusions and medical care.
