Event Details
Representing ITServe Austin Chapter CSR, 30 dedicated volunteers, including women and children came together on April 29th, 2023 at the CSR Event, volunteering for the Central Texas Food Bank.
Together, they achieved an incredible feat by assembling 200 boxes, totaling 3,600 pounds of food. This remarkable effort translates to providing 3,200 nourishing meals for individuals and families facing food insecurity in the community.
Central Texas Food Bank’s mission is “Putting Good Food Within Reach” by working with food donors across the country, financial supporters, and volunteers to fill unmet needs in Central Texas, providing nearly 54 million meals to our community last year and into the hands of families and local nonprofits that turn to us for help.
The hard work and dedication of our members have made a significant difference in the fight against hunger, showcasing the positive impact that a united group of volunteers can have on the community. Our ability to empower our local communities is strengthened by the generous donations of our leadership and member organizations.
