20 Dedicated ITServe Austin Chapter Volunteers Assemble Food for The Central Texas Food Bank When we give to others without expecting anything in return, we are enriched, and the joy is overflowing. This was what we experienced as twenty dedicated members of the Austin Chapter of ITServe came together on February 28th, 2023, at 6500 Metropolis Drive, Austin, TX 78744 as part of the CSR Event to volunteer @ Central Texas Food Bank. Dedicating our precious time, resources, and skills, we achieved this incredible feat by assembling 150 boxes, totaling 3,600 pounds of food for the hungry. Our incredible effort has helped generate 3,000 nourishing meals for individuals and families facing food insecurity in the local community. Central Texas Food Bank works with food donors across the country, financial supporters, and volunteers to fill unmet needs in Central Texas, providing nearly 54 million meals to the community last year and into the hands of families and local nonprofits that turn to us for help. It was indeed very satisfying that our dedication to the local community shown through this generous deed has made a huge difference in the fight against hunger, proving how our collective efforts have a lasting and positive impact on the community that we are part of.
