Event Details
“Rain or snow, we fulfill our promise” was the motto for the 15 CSR volunteers of the Chicago Chapter of ITServe, who gathered at East Aurora Highschool, 801 Ziegler Ave, Aurora, IL on April 29th, 2023, braving the inclement weather of the Windy City.
The April CSR Event, Food Packing and Distribution Event in collaboration with the Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry, which has been operational for over six decades, fighting against poverty, hunger, homelessness, joblessness, and injustice, was yet another way for ITServe to show its larger commitment to humanity.
The generosity of the 15 committed volunteers who dedicated a total of 15 people/60 hours in packing food as part of our monthly CSR initiative, contributed to the Pantry, enabling it to cater to the needs of over 220 families for an entire week.
Despite inclement weather, our volunteers demonstrated their unwavering commitment to this noble cause by actively participating in the event. We express our deepest gratitude to them for their inspiring efforts.
