Event Details
The ITServe Alliance DMV CSR team proudly participated in “Meeting the Moment: FCPS Forward – AI,” where Fairfax County Public Schools officially launched its AI Education Roadmap. This initiative was far more than a technology event; it marked a major step toward preparing students for the AI era with a strong focus on responsibility, safety, and thoughtful implementation.
The event featured key voices such as Steven Butschi, Director of North American Google Education, who demonstrated Notebook LM; Dr. Michelle Reid, FCPS Superintendent, who shared the district’s long-term vision; Gautam Sethi, CIO of FCPS, who detailed the practical implementation framework; and Hilah Barbot from PlayLab, who emphasized the importance of partnership strategy in integrating AI education.
As proud sponsors, ITServe Alliance DMV CSR, led by National Director Tanuj Gundavali, DMV President Suresh Shappiti, and CSR Chair Raja Puli Satish, along with team members Sinwaz Malayala, Ranjit Raula, and Anupama, contributed $5,000 toward the AI Innovation Kickoff: “Meeting the Moment – AI and the Future of Learning.” This early sponsorship played a key role in bringing the event to life and advancing FCPS’s mission to guide students into the future of responsible AI education.
Through this partnership, ITServe also received branding visibility in the FCPS AI Podcast with Dr. Michelle Reid, with a feature display at the end of the episode, as well as in the event showcase slide, which includes Dr. Henry’s signature block and ITServe’s branding.
This year, ITServe Alliance has actively supported education by sponsoring local schools, helping students attend college, and backing this critical AI education initiative. Our commitment to future STEM collaborations with FCPS, Google, and other organizations continues to reflect one core belief—our community is where our children learn and grow, and the next generation deserves more than AI skills; they deserve responsible AI education.
