Millions of Americans are struggling to feed their families and their numbers are growing daily. There are several Food Banks across the nation and on the front lines of support, with resources like pop-up food pantries and food banks that are helping to meet urgent needs.
We at the North East Chapter of ITServe recognize that our support is vital and will make a difference when we provide healthy meals to any needy family.
Generous donations and support from our North East Chapter members helped us come together at 31 Evans Terminal Rd #1, Hillside, NJ 07205 on July 14, 2023, Friday From 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for Food Packing and Donation. The presence of 10 school kids, who are the children of our ITServe members added more meaning and encouragement to our efforts, as we teach in our children a sense of generosity, sharing, and caring for the less privileged.
ITSERVE NE chapter team along with high school kids packed and donated to the Community Food Bank of NJ (CFBNJ.org), a total of 1,000 lbs of food, thus helping feed the hungry in our neighborhood.
